Crispin, Porter, and Bogusky popularly known as CP+B is a member of publicly traded MDC Partners. CP+B is an advertising agency based in Boulder, Colorado. The company’s business extends to global locations. Presently, Lori Senecal is the global CEO of CP+B, but she will retire as the year comes to an end. She has held her current role for close to three years. She also doubled up as the president and CEO of MDC Partners Network.
CP+B is set to lose another high profile employee in addition to Senecal. Richard Pinder in-charge of CP+B London’s operations will exit CP+B soon. He has also spent three years at the agency. Dave Buonaguidi and Arjun Singh both CP+B employees who worked under Pinder have relinquished their responsibilities at the company.
Senecal says her decision to step down had been premeditated between CP+B Chairman Chuck Porter and herself at the start of her tenure. Porter was impressed by Senecal’s performance in her other positions leading him to headhunt her to become the global CEO of CP+B. Three years later, Porter is glad that he had decided to bring in Senecal who re-energized the agency with her “management genius” and organizational strengths. He lauded her for winning high profile clients such as American Airlines and creating an effective global governance structure complemented by seamless communication processes. Porter and Senecal agree that the agency needs a new generation of leaders. Visit adweek for more.
So it came as no surprise when Danielle Aldrich was promoted to the position of president of CP+B West. Her new role will enable her to oversee CP+B Boulder and CP+B Los Angeles. Aldrich is highly experienced having worked at the agency for 14 years. She becomes work peers with the likes of Vinicius Reis, Richard Pinder, and Bamboo Yee. Senecal praised Aldrich for being the type of a leader suitable for CP+B. Aldrich has worked with clients such as Burger King, American Airlines, and Hotels.com.
Senecal has had an impactful career. Before joining CP+B, she was the global chairman and CEO of KBS. She expanded KBS to become a worldwide agency and improved the working environment of the company.
