Tony Petrello: The CEO of Petrello

Tony Petrello’s Work and Education Background

In addition to this, he also heads the operating functions of the company. Tony Petrello holds a J.D. degree from Harvard law school and B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from Yale University.

Before joining Nabors, Tony Petrello worked at Baker and Mckenzie law firm. At the law firm, he focused in international arbitration, corporate law, and taxation from 1979 to 1991. He also served as the managing partner of the firm’s New York office from 1986 until he resigned in 1991. Tony Petrello was elected to the board of directors and executive committee of the board in 1991. He served as the president and chief operating officer from 1991 to October 2011, and the deputy chair since 2003. He was president and chairman of the board’s executive committee since June 2012.

Anthony Petrello is also a member of the board of trustees of the Texas children’s hospital and advocates for research and clinical programs to address the needs of children who suffer from neurological disorders. He also served as a director of Stewart and Stevenson LLC and of Hilcorp Energy Company.
