Sir Francis Bacon once said, “The desire of power in excess caused the angels to fall; the desire of knowledge in excess caused man to fall: but in charity there is no excess; neither can angel nor man come in danger by it.” Regardless of any success one has achieved throughout the course of their life, it is absolutely essential to give back to the community that was so prosperous and generous to them. Failure to do this leads to a life with little to be desired, and a never ending cycle of unfavorable circumstances.
Ross Abelow is a philanthropist at best, but owes plenty of his achievements to his tireless work through law school. After his academic career came to a close, he grabbed the reigns with his law degree in hand, and began tackling the gray area of the legal system. Swift enough to handle multiple practices of law, such as matrimonial, family, and even entertainment, Abelow effortlessly helps all types of people handle any unsightly litigation. Perhaps his most redeeming quality as being an attorney, however, is his relatable personality that puts his clients at ease as he helps them with all of their issues. An attorney by law, but an incognito therapist by choice.
In fact, in early 2016, the attorney launched a GoFundMe page to help alleviate the homeless animal population of New York. Feeling that the population is too high, and that animals deserve a warm place to sleep and enough food to eat, Abelow set a goal of $5,000, which once acquired, he will donate to the local humane societies in an attempt to assist with the cost of medical care, food, electricity, and blankets. Despite all that is going on in his daily professional life, he extends the hours in the day to ensure that his voice is heard in the name of those who need the most help.
The family man has yet to reach the $5,000 goal, but the very fact that the cause is receiving recognition is important enough. His success in life thus far does not go unnoticed, and his efforts to help his home community in all respects is certainly admirable.
