Super Doctors Practicing in Texas

Super Doctors are considered to be an elite group of doctors that rank in the top 5% of their field in their state. Diligent research is done by MSP Communications to narrow down the large pool of skilled doctors to select those that are particularly outstanding in their work. To qualify, these doctors must have done the following: been practicing for a number of years, have held a fellowship, are board certified, involved in professional activities, and have gone above and beyond what other doctors in their field have done. There are more than 40 different specialties that have what are considered to be doctors outstanding enough to be called a Super Doctor.

One of Austin’s Super Doctors is Dr. Jennifer Walden, who specializes in plastic surgery. She is a skilled Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that has spent years training in her field of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Walden is originally from Austin, Texas and received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin. From there, she attended the University of Texas Medical Branch where she graduated with her Medical Degree. After Dr. Walden completed her residency, she moved to New York where she began a fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.

After Dr. Walden’s fellowship was complete, she stayed on at the Hospital where she took the position as Program Director. She eventually relocated back to her home state of Texas where she has opened the successful Walden Cosmetic Surgery Center, PLLC. Dr. Walden is not only known for her superior skills as a plastic surgeon, but also as a warm and caring doctor who donates her time to those less fortunate. In the past she has traveled to third world countries to help repair deformities that some children were born with, such as cleft palates. She is also a supporter of the Food in Tummies (FIT) program to help children receive nutritious meals. Dr. Walden is also a frequent contributor to medical panels on various television channels such as E!, VH1, CBS, and ABC. She has also helped to co-author the 2010 textbook, “Aesthetic Plastic Surgery”.
